The 912 Team

After 25 year in the advertising sales business Shawn Smoak took a chance at becoming his own boss and formed SEGA Prep Sports LLC. He started publishing magazines about High School Athletics in SEGA. 10 Years later he finds himself blessed to still be doing what he loves. 

An  award  winning  journalist,  Rob   has  written  about  southeast  Georgia sports  since  1994.  He  was  press  liaison for  a member  of  Congress

A 25-year veteran in sports journalism who has covered prep sports as well as several major sporting events including a Super Bowl, a World Series and the Masters. 

The  youngest  member of  the  team,  Evan  writes  about  sports  from  across  Southeast Georgia.   Check  out  his  Fire  &  Ice  podcast.

Jennifer  is  known  for  taking  outstanding photographs in  the  Waycross/Blackshear area. She's longest tenured photographer at 912 Sports joining out team shortly after our start. Check out her extraordinary talents by following her on Facebook.   

The  top  sports  photographer  in  the  Coastal Georgia area,  Mike  has  shot  many  covers for  912  Sports.

John has been part of the Southeast Georgia sports  scene for more than 20 years. He is part of the award winning Pierce County NFHS team and one of the Original SEGA Prep Sports members.

From the deep South to New York City, Jeff Kaufman has done just about everything – short of riding the rails. Kaufman is a true renaissance man in the Creative World.
